Adventures in Music Summer Camp
Entering 3rd - 5th grade
These four, week-long themed camps will send your child dancing and singing home. A thoughtful summer curriculum of activities, your child will have so much fun they won’t know how much they’re learning. Every week includes singing, chanting, dancing, mini-choir, body percussion, and expressive movement opportunities, plus plenty of time for the theme of the week—check them out below. All classes run in the afternoons—sign up for one, all, or mix and match!
June 6-10 1pm-4pm
Music, Play and Dance Around the World!
Fee: $150
Special “theme” focus on game songs and simple dances from countries all over the world.
June 13-17 1pm-4pm
Folk Dances
Fee: $150
This week’s theme time will be spent with true folk dances, primarily from England and the United States, with authentic recorded instrumental accompaniments.
June 20-24 1pm-4pm
Pioneer Songs & Play Parties
Fee: $150
This week’s special theme features students enjoying favorite guitar-accompanied American folk songs, music activities, and dance-games called 'Play Parties'.
June 27-July 1 1pm-4pm
I Made It Up!
Fee: $150
Composing and Improvising - Theme time during this final week will explore many creative outlets for students to make music truly their own.
