Encore Summer Broadway Theatre Workshop is a one week intensive that includes classes in dance, voice, character development, performance, improv, tumbling for the stage, choreography, audition technique and the business of show business. We have lined up 5 different professional instructors who are excited to bring their Broadway, regional, cruise line and feature film experiences to our students. Students will be divided by level and have the opportunity to work with all instructors on a rotating class schedule. $450 Mon-Fri, June 21-25 9am-4pm.

Damian Chambers is from Marietta, Ga. Broadway: Aladdin (Swing). Regional: Aladdin 1st National tour (swing), Candide (Gov. Aide) -New York City Opera, West Side Story (Indio/Chino u/s) - Papermill Playhouse, Red Eye of Love (Ensemble) - Saturday Night Fever (Javier/Double-J u/s) - Royal Caribbean Productions.

Mimi Scardulla is a performer originally from Louisiana. She has been seen Off Broadway in Gigantic and We are the Tigers and on Broadway in Kristin Chenoweth's For the Girls. She has worked as an assistant to Chase Brock, Lorin Lotarro, and Spencer Liff. She is also Kristin Chenoweth's Associate Choreographer. MiMi is ecstatic to keep working on Once Upon a One More Time when this "Intermission" is over! All she wants is to spread glitter, self love, and joy to everyone she meets. MiMi's class is all about using the magic of dance to tell the story! Double pirouettes and tilts are fun, but can you give me chills from a head pop? In class we will tackle specificity, storytelling, dynamics, and bringing your magical glitter to your dancing. Musical Theatre dance should be more than just executing steps. We will use those steps to bring stories to life!

Chandler Converse is an award-winning director, vocalist, dancer, writer, and distance runner, who has been a part of over 20 professional stage productions and national tours including "Disney's High School Musical", "Joseph..." and "The Sound of Music." Most recently she worked as the Performance Director for Nickelodeon’s number one kid’s show, "Paw Patrol Live!" Chandler received her Bachelor of the Arts degree with a Dance and International Relations double major and a Music minor in vocal performance from Agnes Scott College. At Agnes Scott she was the recipient of the Merit and Nanette Hopkins Music scholarships as well as the proud President of her class. Chandler currently lives in New York where she is a choreographer, director and teaching artist.

Kathleen Monteleon is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College in theatre/musical theatre, Kathleen’s career received a kick-start when she competed for the role of Sandy on NBC’s GREASE: You’re the One That I Want. After roles as Elle Woods in the national tour of Legally Blonde The Musical and Dede Halcyon-Day in Tales of The City The Musical, Kathleen made her Broadway debut originating the role of Heather Stovall in Hands On A Hardbody. Kathleen’s additional credits include the feature Are You Joking? directed by Jake Wilson, TNT’s Good Behavior alongside Michelle Dockery, and Comedy Central’s Goatface with Hasan Minhaj. Currently, Kathleen stars in the feature film American Reject, which she also wrote and produced. In October 2020, the film won both “Best of Fest” at the Adirondack Film Festival and the Audience Award for Narrative Feature at Bend Film Festival. American Reject screened at the New Orleans Film Festival and the Las Vegas International Film & Screenwriting Festival in November of the same year, where the Las Vegas jury awarded Kathleen “Best Actress.”

Katelin Zelon is a New York City and New Orleans based choreographer, educator, and performer. Most recently she choreographed GREASE & DESCENDANTS (Rivertown THeaters). Favorite performance credits include dancing at Walt Disney World, CHICAGO (Theater Downtown), Cabaret (Clear Space Theatre), A Wonderful Life (Fireside Theater), Anything Goes (The Palace Theater), Broadway Bares: Strip U, and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. As a Choreographer, Katelin is passionate about creating pictures and telling stories. Katelin graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in American Dance Pedagogy from Oklahoma City University.
