Tumble I - II
Ages 3-6

Tumbling I - II offers young children an introduction to the fundamentals of Gymnastics with a focus on tumbling that will provide the building blocks necessary for their potential development in gymnastics, cheerleading, dance, and overall fitness. By learning the benefits of flexibility, balance, strength, and body control, inherent in all aspects of tumbling, your child will be better equipped to safely enjoy and excel in all of his or her future athletic endeavors. The confidence and sense of accomplishment your child will gain from learning new skills will show, and will stay with them forever.

Tumble III / IV
Ages 5-9

BACK HANDSPRING CAMP! An introduction to back handsprings and roundoffs, teaching the students the proper technique for throwing back handsprings, learn power hurdle and running roundoffs, as well as back walkovers, bridge kick overs, and handstands. This camp will focus on challenging the student to much more difficult skills than they have been working on during the year, while learning first & foremost the safe, proper techniques for each skill. Please be assured that this is a very hands on (highly spotted) camp, and is not intended to teach kids to throw back handsprings by themselves in such a short time.

Tumble V / VI
Ages 8 & up

Back handsprings, Back Tucks, and Running Tumbling! This camp will focus on every student being able to throw their back handsprings, and give everyone an opportunity to learn to throw back tucks (with the instructor if you have never thrown them before), and for those that have these skills, they will learn to put them into more intricate sequences. Everyone will have the ability to throw roundoff back handsprings, ariels, back walkovers, front hand springs, back extension rolls, and for the more advanced tumblers, round off back handspring +tuck/pike/layout/halfs/fulls and punch fronts. This class will also focus more on the strength skills needed to throw these difficult skills, and will spend about 10-15 minutes doing strength work each class in addition to their stretches. This is a great opportunity to really push the student, and for those that are really close to getting their back handspring, this is the time to nail it! Sitting out for 3 months (ESPECIALLY at this level) would be a step backwards from the progress made throughout the year.
